Utility Locator
Qualifications:
- Follow directions, customer service skills, walking, lifting
- Must be able to work in all types of weather and conditions
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to carry and move equipment
- Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license
Physical Requirements
MEDIUM Work: Exerts 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. Working Conditions Positions in this class typically require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, workspace restrictions and intense noises. Positions in this class typically require exposure in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
Utility Locator Assistant Assist Locators in day-to-day operations. Assist CSU Locators in daily tasks of performing locates On a daily basis - Must be able to get to the main locator building on Fontanero to meet up with the locator they will be partnered with for the day
Comments/Special Instructions
Able to pass a drug screen
Candidates with a solid work-history, previous experience in locating, basic construction and/or utility work are highly preferred.
Longterm Contract up to 1 year
Monday through Friday
7am-3:30pm with a 1/2 hour lunch
Pay=$20.51/hr
