Administrative Assistant


An administrative assistant is responsible for providing support to the office manage to ensure the efficient operation of the organization. Their duties and responsibilities may vary depending on the availability of the manager, but common tasks will include:


  • Answer telephones/return messages, greet visitors, and respond to emails and correspondence
  • Type referrals
  • Schedule appointments
  • Set up referrals in the EMR, (Electronic Medical Record) System
  • Manage and maintain tracking spreadsheets, files, and records
  • Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations
  • Coordinate and organize events, meetings, and projects
  • Provide administrative support to senior staff and employees
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Perform other clerical and administrative tasks as needed
  • Invoice Services
  • Bank Deposits
  • Pick up lunch and other errands
  • Maintain office conditions and arrange repairs
  • Assist in the on-boarding of new employees
  • Water plants
  • Check water for Sam the mascot
  • Once a month Birthday treat for staff
  • Ensure designated copies are readily available




  • High School diploma; additional qualifications in education or experience is a plus
  • Proven experience as an office assistant
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Excel
  • Knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets is a plus
  • Excellent time management skills – the ability to multi-task and prioritize with focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Must carry automobile insurance – 100,000/300,000 liability


Placement: Contract to Direct

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm

Pay: $19-$23 (depending on experience)

Location: Southwest Colorado Springs (Near 8th St/Cheyenne Mountain Blvd)
