Logistics Analyst I



Responsibilities for Logistics Analyst

• Oversee inventory procedures and manage suppliers’ delivery schedules
• Collect data on supply chain operations
• Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency
• Manage requirements and standards (e.g., packaging, procurement, delivery)
• Implement the most cost-effective shipping method, packaging, and schedules
• Help foster trusting relationships with vendors and team members
• Evaluate vendor operations (e.g., suppliers, distributors) according to quality standards
• Collaborate with IT professionals to operate and update Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
• Track Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) and report on supplier delivery schedule, quality control and price performance
• Establish and maintain relationships with shippers and vendors Qualifications for Logistics Analyst
• Proficiency in computer databases, shipping applications and logistics programs
• 2 years of experience in the logistics industry or related industry
• Domestic & International Shipping experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems
• Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., inventory planning, warehouse management)
• Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Great interpersonal skills

Contract to Direct

Monday through Friday

8am to 4pm

Pay= $20/hr-$24/hr
