Job Description

  • Design, configure, implement, and maintain various O365 applications & technologies (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc)
  • Update 0365 licenses, subscriptions, and user management as necessary
  • Administer and support 0365, Azure, and Exchange policies
  • Write and maintain custom scripts (PowerShell) to remediate issues to support users
  • Design, implement and manage Active Directory and Group Policy in a mixed Windows environment using experience, procedures, and industry best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Group Policy Object (GPO), Active Directory and Azure AD replication, security, and permissions
  • Manage file/network shares, troubleshoot permissions related to Security Groups in AD
  • Manage and resolve issues related to IP Management (adding, modifying DNS records/DHCP scopes, configuring objects in IPAM, SolarWinds)
  • Provide support and administration of a hybrid 0365 Exchange environment to include replication of the local directory to the cloud assets
  • Managing and troubleshooting virtual machines (servers) using vSphere
  • Review system logs and alerts and respond according to the documented procedure
  • Support network backup, recovery, and archiving activities (BURA), follow established processes and procedures to modify (add/remove) objects from backup solution (CommVault)
  • Coordinate Operating System patching with team, follow established policies/procedures to ensure devices are compliant (SCCM/MECM)
  • Ensure documented processes/procedures are followed for building new and decommissioning old objects (servers)
  • Document all resolution activities and customer contact (calls, E-Mails, web forms, chat sessions, or voicemails) into the correct ITSM tool
  • Develop and promote standard operating procedures and the population and use of the Knowledge Management System (KMS)
  • Track and manage tickets to ensure timely and agreed resolutions and solutions
  • Concisely and effectively communicate progress, status, and issues to the customer and management
  • Ensure actions support documented processes and procedures are met or exceed operational Service Level Agreements (SLA) with the business partners
  • When required, provides documentation and training on IT services
