Job Description

Position Summary:      

The Sales Assistant / Portal Admin will provide administrative support to Sales and be the administrator for the various client portals that company manages and supports. The Sales Assistant will be supporting all departments with limited customer interactions. 

Essential Position Functions and Responsibilities:

This position includes, but is not limited to the following essential functions:

  • Update and maintain EDI (electronic data interchange) information / company schedules as required within the various customer portals. Updates include information such as company commit dates, production status, downloading customer forecasts and provide to the team for review/processing
  • Experience with Aerospace Portals preferred
  • Interaction with various departments within the company to status the parts accurately. Upload updated reports to customer portals at required intervals.
  • Support Sales Team with entering PO’s into the Visual ERP System
  • Quote preparation as needed
  • CRC processing
  • Maintain sales order revisions and delivery schedules as necessary in Visual
  • Enter and maintain RMA’s (return merchandise authorization)
  • Provide customer service support through phone, email, etc., communication as required
  • Provide administrative support to sales, accounting, shipping/receiving and other departments as necessary
  • Generate sales reports as requested
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or upper management
  • Customer interaction: de-escalation and customer service with professionalism

Requirements and Qualifications

  • MUST have experience with aerospace industry portals
  • Computer proficient in MS Office Suite products
  • Willing to learn other programs specific to the company
  • Learn RMB’s ERP software, Visual Manufacturing, and become proficient within an agreed upon time to support RMB requirements and its customers.
  • Professional business etiquettes
  • Proficient in the use of all office equipment
  • Assigned duties beyond this job description but within the scope of the position of an Administrative Assistant
  • An employee is to comply with established standards, policies, and laws applicable to our business

Physical Requirements and Hazards

The employee will be exposed to:

  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Standing per personal preference at stand-up desk
  • Desk work most of the day
  • Computer work, customer portal management/updates most of the day
  • No significant lifting required except office supplies, paper, etc.
  • Repetitive movement
  • Phones and customer interaction
  • Filing
  • Minimal bending


The company enforces all safety regulations. The employee is expected to follow all safety precautions. The employee may be exposed to burns, cuts, tripping, smells, loud noises, and other physical hazards when and if on the production floor. The exposure is very limited. Most work is done in an office setting apart from the production area.

Maybe required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Each employee has responsibility for the protection and proper use of company property


Contract to Direct

Monday through Friday


Pay=$19/hr depending on experience
