Well respected Colorado bank seeking Senior Manager of Production Marketing with Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurism, Business Administration, or related field.

This Sr. Marketing Manager role is a key leader within the Product Marketing function focused on designing and delivering profitable, scalable marketing programs in support of the organization's market expansion initiatives. Starting from branch site selection through branch opening, you will identify strategic marketing opportunities and make recommendations that will increase credit union awareness, membership growth, and engagement.


Depending on previous marketing experience, this role may also serve as the central point of contact for managing strategic marketing in other key areas. Examples may include new member onboarding programs, cross-sell initiatives, engagement programs, etc.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Market Expansion. 
  • Identify new market opportunities, competitive considerations, and the best approach to new market entry that will broaden the customer base in scalable ways with consideration for long-term retention.  
  • Collaborate with other marketing managers to develop a cohesive offer and engagement strategy across expansion markets.  
  • Execute integrated campaigns that deepen market presence and drive results through continuous monitoring and optimization.  
  • Provide input into marketing brand management at new service center locations; share learnings applicable across channels.  
  • Infuse new thinking and innovation into the marketing process; become a leader within the marketing organization helping the team develop.

     Business Development:

  • Provide marketing consultation and strategic planning through to implementation in support of business development initiatives which includes "boots on the ground" B2B and B2C applications.  
  • Manage the organizational in-market approach to ensure synergy across business development activities as they relate to and overlap with public relations & sponsorships, media buying, and other business activity throughout the emerging market lifecycle.

     Partner Marketing

  • Lead marketing planning and solutions for internal clients serving organizational, business unit/product and marketing goals.  
  • Anticipate the marketing needs of your internal clients, provide strategic thought leadership and develop professional, collaborative relationships.  
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all key stakeholders; engage subject matter experts and stakeholders where appropriate and with the spirit of inclusivity.  
  • Work with compliance and legal teams to maintain a current understanding of the regulatory environment as it relates to all  products and services; ensure all marketing activities meet requirements and have appropriate approvals.  
  • Provide support to Director as needed on select projects, committees, and other areas.

Key components of this role include

  • Manage the design, development, and analysis of marketing strategies and campaigns from ideation to execution with a strong command of all marketing channels both on and offline.
  • Apply deep understanding of data-driven, omnichannel marketing with a test-and-learn mindset.  
  • Monitor campaign performance for continuous optimization; report back to team and organization. Consult with team SMEs and third-party vendors to evaluate, test, optimize channel performance and troubleshoot those that underperform.  
  • Navigate campaigns through various cross-functional areas including compliance, legal, IT, business intelligence, operations and front line facing leadership.  
  • Develop consultative marketing partnerships and build relationships with internal clients and stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.  
  • Present and substantiate program ideas and results across all levels within the organization.  
  • Manage team of professionals with dedication to coaching, development and talent retention.  
  • Be a team player that is readily willing to help other strategic marketers and team members in a results-focused environment.  
  • Ensure image-bearing marketing/advertising is coherent, attractive, and a true representation of the company.


  • Develop effective, on-brand marketing strategies and manage relevant campaigns to achieve business unit and organizational objectives through competitive marketplace analysis; knowledge of marketing channels and trends; critical thinking skills; knowledge of products and services; knowledge of organizational positioning; and awareness of regulatory/operational needs. Achieve business unit and organizational objectives - such as increased loans, new member acquisition, new product launches, special promotions, mobile channel adoption, etc. while maintaining brand positioning and supporting and/or increasing member satisfaction.
  • Metric analysis of efforts to ensure we meet organizational and department objectives.
  • Direct creative content development by: Writing effective agency input briefs. Reviewing creative briefs. Approval of creative content developed for campaign.
  • Lead implementation team meetings, manage QA process including compliance, IT project support, and Operational staff input and awareness for marketing plans and strategies. Lead quality development and execution of Business Unit marketing plans to ensure member satisfaction and maintain brand positioning.
  • Meet regularly and build relationships with assigned business units. Discuss annual, quarterly, monthly and ongoing changes to goals and objectives to assess and adjust marketing support needs and gain knowledge of business unit goals and ongoing performance to identify adjustments to annual marketing plans that may be needed.
  • Continual project/budget management - assessment, reporting, evaluating and adjusting  working knowledge of budget tracking procedures.
  • Team Development / Staff Alignment: Leads, influences, and coaches direct reports to help them achieve desired results. Provide coaching and team alignment for all direct reports. Handle supervisory duties such as approving time off, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  • Write creative marketing content to communicate effectively and on-brand about products, services, promotions, and programs.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.


Minimum Formal Education Required for this Position:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurism, Business Administration, or related field


Minimum Work Experience:


  • 7+ years' general marketing experience to include: required
  • 2+ years' team leadership or management experience. required
  • 2+ years' experience in marketing service products or companies preferred
  • 1+ Prior marketing communication messaging for an online service preferred


Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of "Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2+ years' of accounting experience? could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master's Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience



Certifications Required:


  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record required


Environmental, Physical and Psychological Requirements

  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate controlled environment.
  • Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper, and operating a telephone.  
  • Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment and include being able to understand member requests through a speaker or headset. 
  • Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person visually with members through a webcam.
  • Must verbally and visually convey instructions through words and gestures with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all members under varying circumstances. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
