Financial Analyst I

Work for a health and wellness concierge medicine company near Garden of the Gods..



Entry level position to assist in analyzing current and past financial performance to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No, but may provide occasional direction to other team members

This position reports to Corporate Comptroller.


• Analyzes, enters, and reconciles business and financial data.

• Creates financial models bases on analyses to support organizational decision making.

• Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.

• Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.

• Closing the General Ledgers.

• Reconciling Banks to the General Ledger.

• Reconciling Payables / Receivables to Sage Intacct.

• Understands inventory and tracking for reporting purposes.

• Reconciling Accounts Payable to supporting documents.

• Reconciling the loans, leases, and accruals.

• Reconcile equity going forward.

• Review financial statement classification in expense accounts.

• Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation.

• Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.

• Provides accounting and financial services support to other corporate entities, as required.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.  
  • Two (2) years of professional experience as an accountant, or computer programmer analyst, or valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate with at least one year of professional experience as an accountant, or computer programmer analyst.
  • Experience in a healthcare and/or insurance related field preferred.
  • People-oriented with an ability to adapt / respond to different types of personalities; good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to explain technical or complex information simply.
  • Understands and possess a high degree of confidentiality and discretion; awareness of the importance of protecting same.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn database and patient scheduling systems, including electronic health records (Helios), Accounting software (Sage Intacct), and Microsoft Office, with a high level of data entry proficiency and accuracy.
  • Must have excellent multitasking ability, organizational management, and customer service skills
  • Ability to be proactive and resourceful in attending to unanticipated situations; a quick learner, eager to help develop and evolve procedures



• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer

    • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
    • Full-Time (40 Hours) with ability to grow within role and organization

Short-term: This opening has a chance to extend past 2 months and could become contract-to-direct

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8AM-4:30 PM or 8:30 AM- 5PM (30 minute lunch)

Pay: $18 + depending on experience
